IntelliDOT® Corporation and Pandora Data Systems Announce Marketing Agreement
-Patient safety innovator and data analysis leader collaborate to best serve healthcare organizations in patient safety and medication administration technology needs-
SAN DIEGO, CA, March 19, 2007 – IntelliDOT Corporation, an innovator in patient safety and workflow management solutions for healthcare, and Pandora Data Systems, a leader in data analysis and trending tools, today announce a joint marketing agreement. Through this working relationship, the companies will be able to deliver a “closed loop” solution to healthcare facilities to ensure that medications withdrawn from a hospital's storage facility are administered to the patient.
San Diego-based IntelliDOT develops and installs point of care bar code patient safety and documentation systems in hospitals. Santa Cruz-based Pandora Data Systems provides hospitals with powerful data analysis and trending tools. Under the new agreement, Pandora will produce a report for hospitals which matches medication withdrawal information from the hospital's storage cabinet to IntelliDOT's transaction data, which identifies where and when the medication was administered, thus ensuring that it was completed accurately.
“IntelliDOT is pleased to collaborate with Pandora Data Systems, as this agreement provides an even more complete solution for healthcare professionals in their patient care initiatives,” said Dave Swenson, R.Ph., Chief Operating Officer of IntelliDOT. “Pandora Data Systems is highly respected and we look forward to a very positive working relationship.”
“Pandora Data Systems' relationship with IntelliDOT will further ensure that medications are administered to patients correctly,” said David Cree, Director of Sales for Pandora Data Systems. “IntelliDOT is a leader in patient safety technology, and we look forward to working with them to continue to establish the setting for excellent patient care.”

About Pandora Data Systems
Since 1989, Pandora Data Systems has been providing hospitals with exceptionally powerful data analysis and trending tools that address the pharmacist's needs for flexible and meaningful reporting. And, the Pandora Data System allows you to turn data into information with all of the leading vendors—Pyxis, AccuDose, and OmniCell.
Originally designed as a Medication Usage Analysis system to be used in conjunction with the Pyxis 1000 MedStation, the Pandora Data System quickly became one of the most popular data analysis and trending tools in the industry—because it offers a variety of visually meaningful reports that exceed hospital, state and federal reporting requirements. In fact, Pandora generates reports that auditors request by name. With the unique ability to analyze Pyxis data to pinpoint potential drug diversion issues, Pandora has experienced record growth in its user base, with systems being installed and used in hospital pharmacies worldwide on a daily basis. Pandora Data Systems is headquartered in Santa Cruz, CA and can be reached at 866.429.8900.
About the IntelliDOT CAREt System
The IntelliDOT CAREt System is the first nurse-centered workflow manager to connect caregivers with the information systems they need at the point of care. Designed to complement the way nurses work, the CAREt handheld is simple to use and provides nurses with a single, wireless tool for medication safety and documentation at the bedside.
The integrated hardware and software solution provided by IntelliDOT results in a cost-effective “smart hardware” system for hospitals looking for a customized design for caregivers at the bedside. By simply scanning a patient wristband, nurses are prompted by the CAREt handheld tool through all required medication administration and documentation tasks that have accumulated for a patient. Information is clear, organized and delivered right into the caregiver's hand, right when it's needed.
Except for the historical information contained herein, this news release contains forward-looking statements that involve risks and uncertainties, including, but not limited to, risks and uncertainties associated with market acceptance of the CAREt System, whether the company will be successful in raising additional funds, the risk that sales of the CAREt System will not increase to target levels, and the effectiveness and marketability of healthcare information technologies, as well as other risks.
