IntelliDOT® Secures $10 Million in Financing

-Psilos Group Leads Financing – Funding Will Support Market Penetration-

SAN DIEGO, CA, March 12, 2007 – IntelliDOT Corporation, an innovator in patient safety and workflow management solutions for healthcare, today announced the closing of $10 million in Series D financing led by Psilos Group. Other investors in the company include Menlo Ventures, American River Ventures, Integral Capital Partners, Shoreline Ventures, Dick Allen, and Shea Ventures. The company intends to use the new capital to support the expansion of its CAREt® bedside barcoding system into acute care hospitals throughout the country.

“Studies continue to document that bar code point-of-care technology can significantly reduce medication errors and other harmful mistakes, yet less than 14% percent of hospitals in the country have adopted the technology. IntelliDOT's focus on a simple, integrated system that fits the nurses' workflow, improves quality of care, and that reduces unnecessary hospital costs uniquely positions the Company as it expands its penetration into this growing market segment,” said Lisa Suennen, managing member for the Psilos Group. “We look forward to working with the IntelliDOT team and the other investors to bring this technology to hospitals committed to improving patient safety.”

“We are very pleased that Psilos shares our commitment to dramatically improve patient care by accelerating commercialization of this technology,” said Thomas Klopack, president and CEO of IntelliDOT Corporation. “Recent additions to the IntelliDOT CAREt® System applications into Phlebotomy Specimen Collection, Vital Signs Collection, and Breast Milk Matching extend the utility of our integrated handheld solution to support patient safety and clinical efficiency throughout the hospital. With the support of Psilos and our other investors we are better positioned to pursue these expanded market opportunities.”

About The IntelliDOT CAREt System
The IntelliDOT CAREt System is the first nurse-centered workflow manager to connect caregivers with the information systems they need at the point of care. Designed to complement the way nurses work, the CAREt handheld is simple to use and provides nurses with a single, wireless tool for medication safety and documentation at the bedside.

The integrated hardware and software solution provided by IntelliDOT results in a cost-effective “smart hardware” system for hospitals looking for a customized design for caregivers at the bedside. By simply scanning a patient wristband, nurses are prompted by the CAREt handheld tool through all required medication administration and documentation tasks that have accumulated for a patient. Information is clear, organized and delivered right into the caregiver's hand, right when it's needed.
