Application Specialist, New York


    The Application Specialist position will be directly involved with the system set up and bar-coding activities required in the early stages of a system implementation; training, go-live and post go-live support; and continued system functionality and utilization monitoring.

    Responsibilities
  • Assist with IntelliDOT implementation tasks as assigned by the Project Manager
  • Assist in executing the implementation project plan to target and milestone dates
  • Communicate project status to Project Manager and VP of Operations as appropriate
  • Demonstrate wise use of IntelliDOT Corporation resources
  • Contribute to improving project methodology and development of implementation tools

 

This position will be field based and will report to the Project Implementation Manager. Primary relationships will be with multi-disciplinary teams from IntelliDOT and client organizations. 


    Requirements

    EDUCATION

    • BA/BS Degree

     

    EXPERIENCE

    • 2+ years of experience in a healthcare environment (Pharmacy or Nursing) with technical systems involvement
    • 3+ years with other computerized system application preferred
    • Demonstrated project management skills, with strong analytical and IT analytical skills preferred
    • Healthcare systems implementation experience or background working in the healthcare industry strongly preferred
    • Working knowledge of software/hardware applications and accessories
    • Proven problem solving ability including ability to follow through and strive for closure
    • Experience with training or tutoring others and ability to speak/present to small groups
    • Successful experience in interacting with client staff and co-workers
    • Focus on customer care orientation; dedicated to excellence
    • Above average proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Project
    • Outstanding time management skills, organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in all areas including written, oral and presentation
    • Self-starter, works well with minimal oversight
    • Practiced/willing traveler

     

    WORK ENVIRONMENT

    Location:    Home Office - anywhere in US (major airport accessible)
    Travel:        Significant travel required, 90%
    Hours:        Full-time
    Salary:        DOE
