CAREt System Server

IntelliDOT implements two fault-tolerant, enterprise-class CAREt Servers. One server functions as the primary while the second server provides mirrored failover backup. The primary server automatically "fails over" to the "mirrored" backup server in the event of a primary server hardware or software failure.

The CAREt Server is connected to the pharmacy information system and hospital admission, discharge and transfer (ADT) system via IntelliDOT's powerful interface engine. Patient demographic information and medication orders, clinical charting and documentation information are all shared bi-directionally via HL7 interface feeds.
