IntelliDOT™ is focused on helping hospitals meet the challenges of improving patient safety, preventing adverse “never events” including medication errors, while enhancing clinical workflows. Founded in 2002 by a team of experienced hospital system innovators, IntelliDOT produces and implements the most effective bar code point-of-care (BPOC) patient safety applications currently on the market.
The IntelliDOT CAREt System is the first clinician-centered workflow manager, designed by clinicians for clinicians and created to connect caregivers with the information they need when they need it most, at the point of care. Created after several years of nurse research, the IntelliDOT team developed the only custom-designed, truly easy to use patient safety system.

IntelliDOT, with the assistance of their customers, has taken patient safety to a new level by expanding the core functionality of the Bedside Medication Administration System and developing additional patient safety applications the same nurse-friendly wireless handheld communication device. These patient safety systems include: Phlebotomy Specimen Collection System, Vital Sign Collection System, Mother-Baby Breast Milk Matching System.
